Anil Dalpat Sonavaria was the first Hindu ever to play Test cricket for Pakistan. Dalpat was a lower-order batsman and wicket keeper, and represented Pakistan for a brief interval in the early 1980s.

Anil Dalpat Sonavaria, born on September 20, 1963 at karachi was the first Hindu Wicket keeper to play for Pakistan. He has played 9 Test matches and 15 ODI for Pakistan. He made his test debut against England on 2nd March, 1984 and played his last test against new Zeland from 9th to 14th February 1985. He made his ODI debut against England on March 26, 1984 and played his last ODI against Wesgt Indies on October 17, 1986.

He has scored 167 runns from 9 test matches with the highest score of 52. He has taken 22 catches and effected 3 stumpings in the test matches.

he has scored 87 runs from 15 ODI with the highest score of 37 runs. He has taken 13 catches and effected 2 stumpings in his ODI carreer.

He is the first Hindu ever to play for Pakistan.
