I'm an attorney in California. I did a search fo the major news services and could find no evidence of such a lawsuit in the mainstream media. I cannot possibly imagine a judge having jurisdiction to shut the service unless a competitor like Google Answers filed a lawsuit under some type of unfair competition law.
