I am thinking of moving there and want to make sure I'll still be able to go see bands play.

I lived there...it's pretty dead concert wise, most are in Orlando. The Bandshell is where the bands play beachside.

having lived in daytona sea coast for 7 a million/2 years, i will inform you that there at the instant are not any venues there for that style of song...daytona may well be a retirement sea coast city that's outfitted around NASCAR and biker activities... she might desire to locate something like that for the duration of the two orlando or jacksonsville, yet unquestionably not in daytona sea coast... EDIT-daytona would not actually have a radio station that performs that style of song...daytona sea coast isn't a city for youthful hip people, that's a city for those with youthful alternative hips!...

dont go there for bands
go to orlando.... it has The Social, The Club at Firestone, House of Blues, Amway Arena, Tinker Field, and is a little distance away from Tampa, St Petersburg, and Fort Lauderdale
