I didnt think I could either, but I'm wearing a ballerina slipper shoe right now and I love it. I was a nurse for 33 years and always wore very unstylish shoes that were good for walking all over the hospital. I'm retired now and plan on buying a lot of ballerina shoes-in all different colors.

I have high arches, but they haven't fallen. I've always had week ankles so I never really wore heels much, if I do it's the chunky kind. I love flats and can wear the the ballerina slipper shoes. I think they're cute.

I trained as a classical dancer from the age of 4 and only stopped dancing at 33 years old. My arches are still there, thankfully. But I wear a lot of flat thonged sandals, up where I live, the weather. I don't like those "ballet pump" type shoes, guess it makes me think I am back in ballet class! There are exercises you can do. Can let you know what they are.

I find when I put my high heels for church or other occasions. I sometime feel, a bit wobbly

I actually love the Indian flat shoes. I buy them.

No....so far so good. Really flats are all I can wear if I must wear shoes. I injured my foot and can't wear shoes for long at all. I mean I might hobble to the car if there's an occasion where I must dress up and wear heels......but you won't see me walking around or dancing till those things are off. I'm thrilled flats are back and pointy toes aren't the only option......my favorite and only comfortable pair of shoes are Crocs. Plus I like my little Chinese shoes. It's getting cold now and lord knows what I'm going to do this winter. I wore out my most comfortable boots and they don't make them anymore.

I keep waiting for my arches to fall, but so far they've remained high through 49 years and a little weight gain.

Like techtwosue, I wore nursing shoes for years. Now, I wear a much wider variety of shoes, but still like wearing my black 'tactical boots'...:) I think the ballet flats are cute, but I don't have a pair right now.

My daughter came home yesterday with a pair of silver ballet flats, they are cute!

I don't wear anything but Geoxx brand shoes. They are the ONLY thing that make it possible for me to walk any distance at all (and to me, any distance is anything over 500 feet). I have had early onset osteoporosis for seven years. The bones in my feet (especially the left foot) are continuously breaking. And I CAN NOT do anything to arrest the process because I am allergic to all mineral supplements...they make me throw up.

I HAVE seen those ballerina slipper shoes though...they look really cute. But surely just a "tad" young for women of our age? :)

I have a high arch and could never wear a flat shoe. I love all kinds of shoes tough. MY current favorite is the "tap" shoe. Its not quite flat but very soft and comfy.

I doubt it. I can wear any type of a shoe. I love high heels and boots I haven't been shopping for shoes lately, so I don't know much about the ballerina slipper.
HHMMMM tomorrow IS Saturday LOL

I love those shoes. If your arches have fallen, get some Dr. Scholls inserts for your shoes. That should help. If not, see a pediotrist. He will help you to be comfortable. I just love those shoes!
