I would recommend all restaurants but they are not low fat. Enjoy the food and be happy!

Although these all appear to be very yummy and healthy choices, my choices for what I think appears to be lowest in calories and carbs are in the following order: 1. Three way tuna 2. Mediterranean Grilled Salmon 3. Mac. Crusted Sea Bass 4. Seared Scallops 5. Lobster Pad Thai The ones with the least amount of carbs are the healthiest. Also, just as FYI don't know if you have a Seasons 52 Restaurant in your area. They're located in Florida and Atlanta (The corporation is The Darden Group, same co. that owns Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc....). This is such a wonderful high end restaurant. None of their dishes, entrees and desserts exceed 475 calories each. If you happen to be near a Seasons 52 Restaurant, gotta try it.

Germany has lots of very good restaurants with wonderful menues. I bet a lot of their food is "healthier" than the standard US-cuisine.
It all depends on your taste...and also the area you will be in in Germany, but I am sure you can find lots of entrees you can eat without increasing your cholesterol. I bet a lot of Germans have that problem as well and they want to eat health-concious.....

Beer?? lol Not many entrees are low in fat over there for sure.
You could just eat what you want and for breakfast have a large bowl of oatmeal. It does manage to flush out some cholesterol.
Enjoy your trip!!

It depends what area you are in and really also what do you like to eat? Germany has so much international cuisine, that I am sure you will find one entree after another which will suit your diet.

I spent half my life in Germany, and I really don't think there is any food that is not fattening there....stay away from the spatzel and bratwurst for sure.
