Yes. I had the flu and was so sick I couldn't keep anything down not even water. After about 5 days my brother called an ambulance to take me to the ER. They gave me three IV bags because I was severely dehydrated. That little 10 minute ride ended up costing me and my hubby about $1,100. After all was said and done after two weeks of bed ridden sickness I had gone to the ER 3 times. But only once by ambulance. I would rather crawl on my hands and knees the next time. I was to out of it to make a rational decision myself at the time.

Yes I was in a bad car accident when I was about 22 and had to be cut free from the wreckage and spent a month in hospital,
I remember the two tone's going all the way to the hospital and that really scared me

yes i have... i was in a car accident back in april and was put on a back board and taken in the ambulance to the hospital... those back boards are definately not made for ppl w/ butts!!

yup, I was in a car accident 5 years ago and lost conciousness, the ambulance ride on the backboard hurt worse than the accident.

Yes, I was in a car accident in 2002. Quite an expensive ride...almost $800. But I couldn't take my car, being as how it was totalled and all.

Yes, but I wasn't the patient, my late husband was. It was the roughest trip of my life, 21/2 hrs in 40c temperature & the air con wasn't working!

Unfortunately yes. I had an allergic reaction at work to an antibiotic and my throat was closing up and it was so embarrassing because everyone was rubber necking.
