Please help me! What fraction is between 1/3 and 2/3? And explain how you found the answer?

Well, if you take the average of two numbers, you find the number exactly halfway between.
So add the numbers and divide by 2:
(1/3 + 2/3) / 2
= (3/3) / 2
= 1 / 2
= ½
Another way to do this is to change the denominators to an even number, say 6. Then your numbers are 2/6 and 4/6. What's halfway between? Obviously 3/6 which is the same as 1/2.

you multiply 1/3 is the same as 2/6
and 2/3 is the same as 4/6
so between 2/6 and 4/6 is 3/6 which is one half

Because 1/3 is 0.33....
And 2/3 is 0.66....
And 6/3 is 0.5
