anger management classes can work if the person makes the attempts to work on their anger. the program is good for those who really want to change...

I think they could if the person works thru the program
my soon to be X went as court ordered but he just
faked progress to finish classes....the way I see it
is you get what you put into it. It won't be a miracle
cure but it may help you deal with the anger differently
or find out what is really bugging you...
Some people really realize what they are doing is hurting
themselves with anger as well as others

a lot of classes like anger management can work, but only if the person is actually committed to changing. changing your personality is a very difficult thing to do, so it can take a lot of time and energy to accomplish it. but they can be effective.

If you can control your anger in court then you can manage your anger period.
