I'm not asking for a 'catchy slogan' to sell something. I'm asking about 'human nature'. For example: Why people give easily attention to someone famous? Once somebody is famous, can go to a completely other field without needing to work for it. A famous politician can get the role of a main actor and a famous actor can go into a political career. Once one is famous one can do whatever and one will have success, even without being good. You can see it here in 'answers.yahoo': Deepak Chopra asks a question that is not especially good but there are more than thousand answers, while similar questions receive just a few. That's why companies like to make advertisements with famous people for their dubious products.
If someone has an experience wanting to share this, because it would help people, but can't get their attention, because what is offered is not just on the daily attention level, what can one do to get to people so that they get interested to try out something new for them?

Reading the answers it shows that I wasn't clear enough in my comment in the details. I will try again: To share an insight or an experience that could change people’s worldview and so avoid a lot of suffering or could make that suffering is used creatively, it will not help to take a bubble bath in the middle of the mall and then telling people: Hey, the earth is round and not flat! People will probably just laugh or eliminate this good-looking guy if his ‘message’ is against the established dogma.
My question has nothing to do with selling. Yes, some people strive for fame to sell better, but that’s not what’s about. People reject something new and this is ‘normal’, unless one can convince them with arguments they can understand. I am talking about ways to get their attention so that they are able to listen. You say that I can’t get attention because I am ‘normal’ because I believe that I understand something better than others and so must fail to get attention without being famous.

The fact is that I do understand something better, even you are not interested to know about it, because you are ‘normal’. I don’t want to become famous, this was only an example. You had a negative experience and you are stuck with it, so it is ‘normal’ that you can’t see any solution.
It is not about a product, but it is the same for some truth: It can’t ‘stand by itself’ if it is not known.
“…those who have made significant contributions to mankind, and of lasting value have never been after such 'attention' or recognition of any sort!” I doubt this. All those who had a significant impact to mankind could only do so because they fulfilled a need or at least promised it and so they got the intention of people. Wasn’t Jesus talking to gathered people? Probably he didn’t get the intention he wanted. He traveled for a long time, how many listened to him? Yes, a few followed him and the rest ignored him, but then he provoked or at least allowed something spectacular, being crucified...

“If it happens to contradict the mass expectation of a pattern of behavior would severely backfire and the mass public would just bring down that person from that high 'pedestal'!” Was this what happened with Jesus? I don’t compare myself with Jesus; this is just an example that has to do with attention.
“You gotta stand out in one way or another, you have to be gifted.” Really? One can stand out or be gifted and nobody will care or give attention. Example: An artist in need of money called at doors to sell his drawings, these were very good but nobody wanted them, even he only ask for little money. He tried for long and got so frustrated that one day when somebody was extremely nasty, he killed this person. When he became ‘famous’ because of this, he sold his drawings for a very high price. Obviously to be gifted is not enough, people can’t recognize it out of their own judgment, they want to be told by somebody they know and believe because this one is ‘famous’ and so an authority.

It doesn’t bother me at all that one guy gets more answers. What interest me are the phenomena in human nature and I am searching for something to use it in a positive way for the benefit of all. Yes, because of this I ask myself and I ask you.
I am not insecure about myself just about a possible action.
Thank you all for your attention so far...

I think to have success with what you want to do, you have to work within the bounds of the reality of how human nature is right now. While I can understand you would like to come up with something creative that can work on another level, that doesn't need a famous image to get attention, probably that is unrealistic to hope for at this time.

I think people in this thread have told you pretty much the answer - to get attention you have to stand out in the crowd - you have to speak or give your message to a wider audience. While this Q&A forum and one-to-one exchanges have their benefit, it's not the most effective use of somebody's time who is truly creative and has much to offer from their experiences.

I am not saying you have to be famous or have the goal to become famous, knowing what a trap that is. I think the reality is that in these days it's actually pretty hard to do because there are so many striving for it. So what I'm saying is that there are many open niches for a higher profile in which you can get your message out to more people, without becoming famous for it. If fame does happen to you because of it, then this couldn't be helped, the benefit of giving your message more widely is greater than the damage that might be caused by people becoming followers or consumers of what you offer, not to mention the danger of it going to your head.

But I think you don't have to worry about those things, because I know your intention is pure. I think you should come up with a business or marketing plan, not like most people do, but a blue-print on how you want to do this. Then put all your energy into it, make your dream a reality and dream big. On public television in the USA there is not one show on awareness or consciousness, I don't know about the satellite or cable channels... This to me is an obvious need and a way to reach 'consumer's'. There are many 'reality' TV shows today, that could be done much better. You could make videos, but make then quality, pay attention to your clothes and hair to look 'neat' as a minimum. find a way to distribute these videos to a broader audience. Write a book, and you will have to sell it, if it becomes a best seller, then you will reach millions of people. If money comes as a result of any of these things, then you will know how to reinvest it to do more of the same. As making money isn't part of your intention, if money comes as a result of your doing you can know:
you are supported in your intention
and you know you to use the money in a repsonsible way to
continue with your intention.

What am I saying? Use the current business model as a guide, to distribute information to the masses. If you can't beat them, join them kind of thing. Don't worry about other's perception that you are trying to become famous or that you are the typical money maker, you know this isn't your intention so you can do this kind of thing and be pure about it. Not becoming rich nor famous, but getting your message out in the most effective way. The sad fact is that people don't listen to you unless you have some kind of profile or image that they will listen to, so building this is part of the sale. Not building up a fake front, but rather raising oneself into the public eye.

Lastly, I think Eckhardt Tolle with his book Power of Now had such a profound effect on so many people, and it was because his book rose to the best seller list and could reach so many people in their hands, in their home. This book 'wrote itself', and the rise to popularity also happened in this way. If the material is 'this good', then the universe will support it and you to get your message out in the way it will reach the most people.

Don't exclude the avenue of the most likely possibility of distribution, just because so many have abused it to make gains for themselves. Deal with and relate to reality, use what's here now and what's already proven to work.
A business model is needed for this, basically this is your plan to carry it out, the details, it helps you to organize your energy and focus in into what you want to create. Without this kind of forethought, people rarely manifest their vision, as their energy is too scattered all over the place. Doing the plan, focuses the energy.

The more professionally the vision is presented, the more people will take you seriously and listen, give you air-time, play your films, read your books, etc. This needs awareness of all aspects of presention of oneself including one's appearance, name recognition, logos, marketing images, editing, quality films, etc.

I just saw a show on television last night where an entrepenuer made over 10 million dollars when he was very young, and after that quit the business of doing that for himself. From what he learned from becoming an entrepeneour he next changed his focus to use what he had learned to 'do good', now he does the same thing but puts all the money into rebuilding poor neighborhoods. He said in 10 years the next thing he would like to do is become a preacher at a local church.

I just share this, because it's interesting to see something like this go in reverse... But also I see that if one's intention is pure, then one can trust that only good will come out of one's doing, no matter what kind of medium or form it takes.

Sir, Getting attention is about "allowing" ourselves to be rated by values of others! It is quite good to handle material aspect of life, for commercial viability, and that is what advertisers do (the best ad company gets most paid for the best way of getting attention).
Now, once a person is looked at as a 'dependable' person by a mass group, there is a collective mind, a collective psychology at work, and some sort of 'hero' worship creeps in. When a person gets into that kind of groove, even the way he sneezes becomes a brand or a fashion worth imitating!
But those who have made significant contributions to mankind, and of lasting value have never been after such 'attention' or recognition of any sort! Such 'attentions' are usually of temporary nature, and it takes a lot to even maintain it. Any inadvertent action, unintentional even, if it happens to contradict the 'mass' expectation of a pattern of behaviour would severely backfire, and the 'mass' public would just bring down that person from that high 'pedestal'!

If you get the answer you're looking for here, you should bottle it and sell it. It's why some people strive for fame, whether it's for being famous or infamous. The power of fame is ridiculous, but it's a sad plight of human nature to accept it and embrace it. That tendency invades every society we've ever known. One has to burst through the pack in some way to get noticed. There's a reason we have the word "normal." It just means you're like everyone else...convinced you understand things better than anyone else, you've discovered or invented a better mousetrap...but you don't convince anyone because you're common. Without fame...whether for your brilliance, expertise, evilness, bloodline, whatever, you'll be still in the pack with the rest of us dogs. Sorry that I'm not more creative and hopeful about your question, but that's the way I see it because that's the experience I've had. Good luck getting noticed, sweetie.

First of all, you must realize that the general public isn't very thoughtful or perceptive. Why do you even care to be noticed by them? If there's an important issue that needs to be discussed, it won't matter who says it; even the famous will only be listened to for a few minutes. The entire nation suffers from severe ADHD. If something as small as some guy getting more answers really bothers you that much, you need to ask yourself why. Insecurity?

Really good looking people are the talking heads on newscasts and paid advertisements.
If you aren't particularly good looking, you have to be dressed well or have a gimmick that grabs attention. I'd go to look at a guy taking a bubble bath in the middle of the mall, even if he didn't look like George Clooney. I'd be curious.
