POLAR BEARS THREATENED BY DRAMATIC ARCTIC WARMING
"There are two things that can affect polar bears: one is a change in the number of ringed seals for them to feed on, and the other is a change in the accessibility of those seals. The ice plays a big role in both of those things."
http://archive.greenpeace.org/pressreleases/arctic/1998nov2.html
Basically this is what will happen, the polar bears won't be around to eat the seals the seals will overpopulate and lose their food supply because of over population and it will spiral out of control until it begins to affect humans because the seals will be eating all of the fish etc.
And if people don't learn to control their appetite for OIL we will all be in big trouble because of pollution contributing to global warming.
It's a dirty vicious cycle that we won't be able to stop.
I'm sorry if this sounds like doom and gloom, but, the facts are before us.

HELLO LILY
Thru out time we have lost hundred of animals or gone extinct. If we loose those bears we will have a change in the food chain yes, but we all will still be fine.
Bears swim, bears feed and they travel well in the artic. If you over look what you see and hear they are big bears with white coats, they eat a lot of fish, and they don't even take out a lic!

Life is constantly evolving. Look at the dinosaurs. Something will replace everything. Can't you see that even if an asteroid hits and wipes out everything, life always finds a way back over and over so don't you worry about a thing.
