You should defenintely name her Alyssa. It is such a pretty name...... sarah is a no no... way to plain. Alyssa is a beautiful name, and congratulations on the baby!!!

If you name her Sarah, she might feel limited by her simple common name. She might try to be unique and different to show that she is not just like all of the other Sarahs out there. If you name her Alyssa she might try to compensate for her extra attention given her for her interesting name by being more normal. Mind you Alyssa is not the most out there name and you might try something else. Obviously this isn't a perfect science but if you can't decide on a name think about what kind of daughter you want. I like both names but prefer Sarah being pronounced Sara as in Zara.
Sara Alyssa is pretty. But I think someone has said that you will know when you see the baby what to call her.
