It is only wrong to those of you that don't eat shark or shark fin soup. Don't forget what you do when you condemn a practice. You also condemn the people and their culture. You really have no right telling people how to live and what to eat. This practice of de-finning and dumping sharks has about come to and end. There is economic value in shark meat. Generally the people that catch sharks, cut off the fins, then dumped the shark, are doing it illegally. So those folks are criminals. You cant expect criminals to care.

The term japs is a very derogatory term that was applied to the Japaneses during world war 2. It is inappropriate now. As an island nation they have relied on the sea more than any other. They have less sympathy for sea life than western cultures. They will harvest all sea life unless we have world wide bans on harvesting.
