What would you think if the 50s were brought back and everything was just like it was then? I think it would be a lot of fun. Seeing as I've never lived in that time, or the 60s, or the 70s, or the 80s, i'd like to see the 50s. What do you think our world would be like if we had the style of the 50s and the technology of today?

I didn't relieze about the rasicm (to person who mentioned that) I was manely thinking about the style, cars, music, then in general fun part.

The racism in the 1950's was terrible and the cold war was just starting! I don't think I would want to live in that time period!

I'm not a 50's fan but I would be SO happy if the 60's or 80's came back!

I think it would be great. Looking at pictures of the clothing styles, the sharp cars they drove, the music. Lets bring the 50's back.

I'm with you. Today's technology with '50's mores and morals would be almost ideal. Most attractive of all would be a return to cute and clever references to sex and sexuality, rather than this broad, brazen, in-your-face blatant sex we are bombarded with day in and day out. Manners. No graffiti Men were gentlemen. Women behaved like ladies. No "nice" person would use profanity in mixed company. What train do I catch?

I think our world would totally kick *** if we had the style of the 50's and the tech. of today!! the 50's ladies always dressed with class.....loved the poodle skirts and the dresses!! the cars were sweet as hell back then too!
