he is lactose intolent so am a bit worried about upsetting his little tummy. Are these foods ok for a little tummy? What else can I mash up for him? He doesn't seem to like the banana I just tried him on. Is avacado ok?

Yes, in moderation though.

Sure. Avacado is a wonderful source of vitamins, nutrients and "good" fats.

You might also want to try one of those mesh bag feeders and put the avacado in there. He might get a kick out of feeding himself (once he gets a hang of it, of course).

You can mash up any kind of fruit or veggie for him. Do you use a baby food grinder? The only thing I had a hard time grinding up was melons and stuff like that. Other than that, you can grind things up pretty easily. We fed my daughter any veggie we were having for dinner at that age.

Hello!
Fruits and veggies can be given after 6 months of age. I would just be careful with the bananas because they can be constipating. Be sure not to give more than one new food per week.

Good luck!

Yes, both banana and avocado are fine for a 7 month old.

Avocado is a great first food. It is full of nutrients and good fats.

Avocado is okay but it can be a little rich so only do a very small amount. Get the stage 1 baby foods - those are great and they have organic ones too.

avocado is an excellent choice just make sure you introduce one new food per week , mash it up so it would be easy for your baby to digest. it is very high in nutrients .
