what is better.... a blackbear hamster or a ferret????

I have owened both and my favorite is the FERRET. I currently have 3, they are very smart and extremely hipper. If you had one you would fall in LOVE with it.

I've never heard of a blackbear hamster. I know ferrets are cool but really expensive. Normal hamsters are cheap and make for good pets.

Blackbear hamsters. They are cleaner, tamer, easier to breed, easier to care for and things for them are just less expensive. So obviosly Blackbear hamsters are you best choice. You really just have to look at the facts.

I've never "smelled" a ferret but if they smell as bad as everyone says, definitely a hamster. I have 3 hamsters, and they're all so cute and fluffy. I'd definitely go with the hamster!

I would rather have a hamster. I knew someone who had a few ferrets and they smell really bad. Even at the pet stores I've been to they have a really funky smell. They are cuter than anything, but I would vomit in my shoes if I had to smell that smell for too long.

Black bear hamsters make great little pets, but get them while they are young,. They are a lot less of a mess and expense than ferrets. although a neutered - de musked ferret makes an equally good pet.

ferrets are illegal in some states and not so cuddly. Hamsters are soooooo cute. They look like little miniature teddy bears.

Depends...the hamster will be easier but the ferrit is way neater. But they do tend to steal items and hide them so beware! but they live longer...I know a girl who has 5 and she just loves them to bits.
