Great question. The answer is none. Democrats ask Democrats questions in Democrat debates on CNN. Democrats ask Republicans questions in Republican debates on CNN.

They didn't force anything, all they did was choose from all of the questions submitted. If you had any real idea about how those questions were selected you'd understand... However, as in the YouTube debate, CNN gets to filter what questions actually get put forth to the candidates.. I'd like to see exactly what their selection process entails.

I don't know of too many students that could be forced into doing anything they didn't want to do. The only one I know of who had a plant asking a question was Clinton.
