if this world is full of lies then "this world if full of lies" is also a lie, then i can say that this world is not full of lies and that's the truth.

its hard, you know the saying about when you tell a little white lie you need to tell other lies to cover up and so on and so forth, what you end up with is a world built on lies where you will find it very hard to find one completely truthful honest person.
now lets go back to the fall of man, and change the word "lie" for the previous passage to "sin", you now have a world built on sin where you will find it very hard to find one completely sinless person, now there was one but that was over 2000 years ago. so adding to one of the earlier posts, in this world, this broken world where every human being is wounded through no direct fault of there on with lies and sin you will only find truth in God.
so the more people who find truth in god and live a life as close to jesus as possible, it will be possible to mend this brocken world and bring sinless, thruth, honesty and love. its not supposed to be easy tho.

meticulously observe the patterns over a course of months, years. Does the person repeatedly tell "white lies" have you caught them in lie? Have they told you something in truth, and you found it out later to be a lie? Liers, are cunning. They always don't fall in one day. You have to lay the trap for them, and hope they bite. Or, just find out from their closest friends the history of truthfulness vs honesty.

Compare information from multiple sources, preferable enemies. Compare what is said to what actually happens. Observe what's happening for your self. Track events over a long time period.
If you do all that the truth will become evident

You go to God. It's the only truth you can rely on. The bible is the revelation of God by Himself to us. If you want truth then there is where it lays, in those pages and the truth is not a pretty thing. God pulls no punches when He tells us what the history is, and what is expected of us all. He shows every blemish of all His followers, His chosen and the righteous. All of them are shown truthfully, but all of them receive what is appropriate. It is shown in truth throughout the books in the Bible.

Truth is a motive, not an accomplishment. You can make an honest mistake and you can decieve with the truth.
To find truth you have to be completely honest yourself. To find truth you have to want not to decieve. To find truth, you have to have courage.
If you seek it with courage, you will find it.

By trusting yourself. I don't think there really are many 'universal truths,' I believe everybody has to find their own personal truths. That way, it is what YOU believe, and it is your truth.

Think about it for a long time.
There is always some truth in everything, you just have to look for it. Sometimes really deeply.
