The past 2 times my Leopard gecko pooped, it was on his house. I have 2 houses for him, 1 on the warm side and 1 on the cool side. He has been pooping on the cool 1. Is this normal?

have you ever checked in each and all of the hides? they in many situations p.c.. one spot interior the tank to make their "restroom" and could consistently bypass there. you need to examine for impaction, yet while he's eating often then that is probable no longer something to fret approximately. Did the area the place you got him have him on sand? If he exchange into on sand the place you got him, he might have impaction by way of fact they each and every so often by danger consume it and can't digest it. if it is the case, attempt a heat bath on a similar time as gently rubbing his abdomen. confirm the temperatures are appropriate, in any different case they can't digest their food (88-ninety heat area and approximately 80ish on the cool area). this might merely be rigidity and adjusting to his new residing house! provide it a pair greater days, and that i wager you will see him pooping. merely examine everywhere interior the cage!

They like to pick one place to go all the time. Very normal. Don't forget that very important third hide--a moist hide! They need it for shedding!
