The 'Star Spangled Banner'.

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

It's a reference to the British bombardment of Washington DC during the War of 1812, during which an American flag remained flying.

Currently it is the Star Spangled banner as many here have pointed out, but there ash been some talk about changing it to a song that is easier to sing, learn and actually has the name America in the title.

The song would be America the beautiful.

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!

America! America!
God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

Just like with the Star Spangled Banner, ther are many other verses that no one will ever learn, but at least as I said this one actually has the wor America in it.
