McCain says he's seen them before. Romney sez it's not American to put him down for a religious choice. And the people interviewed having received the calls speak of John Edwards and bashing him. No where did ABC News mention Hillary '08.

They also mentioned these are usual yet coming early, as with everything this campaign season it's all happening way ahead of schedule.

Do you wonder where 300 million dollars goes? As I stare in amazement at emails I can not get rid of from Hilliam More money Bill sez yesterday. Is there no end?

If you have some comments, any info about 2000 when these were very evident? Planting information ? Maybe I just wanted to let you know it is happening. All responsible ideas welcome.
Thank you.

A Push Poll is a question very much like the question, " So, When did you stop beating your wife." There is no right answer, and it put a negative picture in the mind of the person being called. Works both ways, of course.
See ya in the funny papers!!.

Yes, I've heard of them, and had 1 that I can remember from 2000. It wasn't a presidential one, it was a congressional one.

Basically they set up the question like, "Did you know that our world will turn into a burned out cinder if we don't stop global warming? Candidate A says he doesn't approve of trying to lower CO2 emissions. Do you favor candidate B's proposal to reduce CO2 emissions?

John McCain is VERY familiar with the push polls because it cost him the 2000 election.

It happened when the Bush/Cheney camp used one in South Carolina to ask Republican voters if they would vote for McCain if they knew he fathered an illegimate black child.

Of course he didn't. McCain and his wife adopted a child from Vietnam, I believe.

But the poll was enough to cost McCain South Carolina and the rest of the South, thanks to Bush & Co.
