Is this a lesser league?

I'm sure Bonds will be let off the hook just like most famous people do. A little slap on the wrist, but his playing days in the majors better be over and his HR record taken away.
Anyway Washington is NOT a minor league team (Minor leagues are leagues that work with the major leagues).
This is an Independent league that might want to some day challenge the Major leagues like the old USFL or XFL did football. Right now they are just happy not being part of MLB.

You guys don't know any of the facts. He's being railroaded by our justice system. The same one that puts innocent people to death... There's been about 100 die in the last 10 years that after they've been executed they have found conculsive evidence that they didn't do the crime. Bond's never said he didn't do steroids, he stated clearly that he took what his trainer gave him and that he didn't think his trainer ever gave him steroids. If your trainer says here take this pill, and you do... is it your fault? Or the trainer whom you trust? There have been numerous trainers in both leagues give many players steroids. The only reason that they are after him is cause he broke Henry Aaron's record. They are after him just like they are still trying to pin something on OJ. I'm white, and you people are all a bunch of idiots. Blacks really do not get a fair shake. If a white person gets in trouble they get let off 90% more of the time. If a black guy does something, He does the time. I think any team that gets the greatest home runs king of all time is lucky. The extra home runs comes from the shorter ball parks, this has been already proven scientifically, they are typically shorter by 10-15 ft or more in some cases, this has made a huge difference in home runs across the board. Just because he has charges against him... whatever happen to innocent until PROVEN guilty. You are all a sorry bunch of losers and exactly what is wrong with america. You think you know what the hell is going on and want to make anyone but yourselves the scap goat. I'm moving to a democratic country this country is no longer free or american anymore. George Washington would s h i t himself if he were alive today. Oh and Washington had a few black slaves in his free Army, and he offered them freedom for fighting with him.

Wow I've never heard of it but I believe it is a minor league team. Whatever it is, that is a downgrade for him. But I don't mind since he deserves it. But then again, he deserves to never play again. And if he ends up in jail, then he won't be for awhile, if ever. He may be banned though and so if that happens, he won't be able to play again. The team would be smart not to get into the Bonds mess and not offer him anything.

Bonds will cut a deal, just like any high profile person. He will not serve any jail time, his liability to sponsors is his downfall as to playing again.

He could join a team if he wanted to, but I don't know what team would want someone who got charged with an obstruction of justice and numerous counts of perjury
