You find a family (father&mother) who'll provide a secure and loving enviroment where the baby can nourish and grow . There is a lot of financially stable hetero married couple looking for a child to adopt. Don't give up hope.

I don't mind allowing a gay couple in a stable relationship to raise a child. However, I would prefer that there would a female presence (mother, sister, aunt, etc.) that would provide a balance to the two men.
Same goes for lesbians raising a child, there should be a male presence to provide balance.
pdooma: Are you saying that you never send your child to Grandma's house for a short visit or have an aunt or sister who comes by now and then to help out?

Always to the stable couple. That's a no brainer.
And calling someone a chump isn't polite.
I'm a single dad raising my son (mom's not in the picture at all) without a "female" presence. I guess that makes me unfit too? What about single mothers who don't have that "male" presence? It's a hard line to take.

Not all gay couples are 'stable' and not all hetero couples involve a wife beater. You've limited the possibilities to suit your agenda.

I'll ignore the chumps comments in the hope that you will one day acquire wisdom. In answer to your question, if you are speaking in terms of an adoption agency, if all other things were equal I would place a child with the gay couple.

Neither. The world fortunately doesn't work that way: couples are screened to get an adopted baby.
