Can someone give me a website or some advice to understand mechanisims of injury from car accidents and speeds?
Like if 2 cars hit head on one is going 30 the 50 what is the total speed of the impact?
please help me understand this?

You always add the speed of both vehicles to get the speed of impact in a head-on collision.

Two cars going 30 MPH that collided head on is the same as one car doing 60 MPH and hitting a stationary object like a tree. Bad outcome either way.

You might look up the book "What to do for a pain in the neck" by Dr. Jerome Shofferman, M.D. to understand how delicate the human body is when it comes to vehicle crashes.
