My Ipod battery seems to drain about after 10 songs, and when I watch video, it drains even faster. any tips on how to save battery

WTH? Take the battery out? Are you insane??

DON'T listen to that guy, he's crazy!! You can't take the battery out, only a pro should do that because you might mess up your iPod!

The only advice I can give you is when you're just listening to songs, go to Settings > Backlight Timer > 5 seconds. That way the backlight isn't on all the time because that really drains the batteries.

Also go to Settings > Brightness and turn it all the way down because you really don't need such a bright screen and it saves a lot on the battery!

take the battery out and let it rest for 24 hours
this lets the electrons settle and recalibrates the battery.
afterwards, charge the ipod COMPLETLY and then use it as you normaly would except don't keep it on for more than half an hour without 5 minute cool down/rests. always treat the ipod like that and you will never have the problem again

keep it on a medium volume i have one too i loose my battery after like weeks you dumb person!!!!!!!!!! lol
