"Sicko" is not a good source to use to make your opinions. Michael Moore is an idiot he only thinks he knows the answer. Not saying Bush is brilliant either. I think sicko is about universal healthcare so i will start with that. Universal healthcare is not necessarily a good idea for the country assuming it would cover everyone and even those who could afford health insurance. You are entrusting your health to the biggest bureaucracy on earth, the United States Government. In some country universal healthcare has worked like France but it hasn't been such a good thing in Canada for instance. Some Canadians come to America for treatment. The hospitals in Canada are outdated now. It wouldn't be "free" either it would just add to our taxes which I am not in favor of at all. I think if we give the government any power in the healthcare system it should only be for people who truly cannot pay for healthcare. I really don't want my visits to the doctor to be like going to the DMV. I believe somewhere around 85 or 80% of the US has health insurance. These people have some of the best healthcare in the world. Why should we take away from them. I say that if we managed to cut down some of the Pork Barrel spending and the inefficiency of the government we should be able to easily supply people without health insurance with insurance at a lower price or for free without raising taxes much or none at all.

Don't be another one of the group-think walking dead known as liberals. The movie you saw was produced by a pot-bellied, baseball cap wearing, anti-American sloth with a left-wing agenda. Michael Moore is a despicable human being (and we use the term loosely) bent on bashing the Bush administration no matter what. He suffers from BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) and only supports the cause of socialist psychos. Do yourself a favor and try to distance yourself from the left-wing crowd. Be a free-thinker and make your own judgements about people and events. You will grow out of the extremist way of thinking and be happy you did.
TO MATT D: Let us know when you break out of your liberal trance so people can talk (or slap) some sense into you as well.

Sicko is nothing but propaganda created by a man who hates America. Do your own research. Also most of the stuff that people claim President Bush did (stole the election, committed 9/11 so he could invade Iraq, went into Iraq to avenge his father) are flat out lies.

I may not like everything that Bush has done, but I'm smart enough to know fact from fiction.

You have just finished your Liberal Re-education Program, all that is left is for you to give us all of your money and we will take good care of you for ever and ever just like they do in um...... well......... I would say Cuba, Canada, France, or Mexico but they all come to the States for treatment so they will end up actually getting better. The only thing National health care, Well-fare, and Social Security is going to do is bankrupt the nation. Mr. Moore doesn't mention in Sicko that National Healthcare can never be paid for because the Federal Government is looking at a $79 Trillion shortfall with Social Security alone, I don't even want to know what the number is going to be when you add medicare and welfare to the mix.....

Just to prove a point the down fall looks like this typed out:
$79,000,000,000,000.00

Michael Moore is NOT the person to trust in getting facts straight. He takes film and edits it in a manner to back the propaganda he is spouting and also takes what people say out of context to make it sound like they are saying something they aren't.

He is a propaganda artist in the same mold as Joseph Goebbels of Nazi Germany. If you don't know who he was, I would say that you don't know enough to make a judgement of anything political.

Sicko is the extreme lefts attempt at popular propaganda. Please, Do a little research into the topics discussed on your own. You will be surprised at just how much is blown, twisted, manipulate, spun, altered, misquoted, and taken out of context. Just for the sake of selling tickets and DVDs.

If you believe that stuff, you have been taken. But more importantly... Manipulated.

I can't believe you fell for Michael Moore's lies and propaganda. Not you of all people. I'm so disappointed in you.

Sicko is not entirely fiction, regardless of what a very partisan Bush-lover like Davidmi wrote, but Bush isn't entirely the problem either.

The problem is our for-profit health care system. Remove the profit making expectations of Wall Street out of the health care equation, and the problems with the existing system would mostly go away.
