Sanitry towels, tampons etc..?
We have no choice to have periods, so why should we have to pay to use pads. Shouldn't they be free to all women?

Just to add, food can be free if you grow it your self, all food that is needed to survive can be free. We use supermarkets and shops etc, because we chose not to grow our own. See a need fill a need (Robots) hee hee

In most feminine stuffs are pretty cheap when we need get tampons, pad, pantyliner and so on. To me it's not that expensive. Would be nice get tampons and pads to be free for all women.

Let me tell you, when you goes to Thailand, when you need goes the restroom. You'll have pay for it before you enter the restroom. It's not free, because cost their water, papers, toilet papers, and more.

You are aware that you don't have to use tampons and pads, aren't you? You could just use rags like our great-grandmothers did. Those are free. Tampons and pads were made and marketed for convenience and that is what you are paying for.

Did you know that menstrual cups although pricey for initial purchase pay off in the long run? Some cups last for 10 years. Now that is getting your monies worth! Links to different makers of menstrual cups below.

I would love to say yes, but we need so many different things such as toilet paper, clean water, food, etc..., and it can't all be free. However, I always feel sad and wonder what homeless women do at that time of the month.

No. Everybody pays for just about every service/product they need.

People don't have any choice about the fact that they need to eat... should we not have to pay for food and put farmers and food-producers out of business?
We don't choose to grow hair where we don't want it (girls and guys).. so should we not have to pay for razors and shaving cream?
What about deodorant, and medicine, and shoes, etc.?

Every person will need things that some other people may not, but they still need to be paid for. Taxes can't cover everything.

Well ..everyone has to eat food and we still have to pay for it. Someone still has to make the feminine products and they cost money to make them ..so no I dont think they should be free.

Ok you can grow your own food ..then you can also go out ..and do like women of ancient cultures ..they couldn't buy feminine hygiene products at the supermarket or drugstore chain, so they improvised, fashioning them instead out of various natural and biodegradable materials—from papyrus and wool to grasses and vegetable fibers.

If you really dont want to pay for feminine hygenie products ..you dont have to either..but i would really recommend it

You have a choice to use the items.
no, there is no reason for them to be free. nothing is free.
Hospitals cost money, and i highly doubt many of the people in them (who are being treated) chose to get hurt.

We have no choice in catching colds, flu etc but medicine isnt free. I do think the VAT is a bit of a b*tch though, they arent exactly luxury items.

By the way, the Tampax Corporation have just confirmed that all of their strings are to be replaced by tinsel ...... it's for the Xmas period .....
