Yes, you should take that into consideration. Doesn't mean she's right. That would depend on what she thinks he's lacking in. Your mother's life experience is something to value. Talk to her about it. Ask her opinion. Sometimes who you think is a nice guy can have some heavy baggage because of the way he was raised or how he looks at his future. I'm sure she just wants the best for you in every aspect.

Of course you should take it into consideration. Your mother has more experience than you do, and she knows you well. So you should give some weight to her opinion, even if you don't agree with it or follow her advice.

Give your mom a chance to get to know your boyfriend better. She only knows what she hears, and what she sees with her own eyes, and so far her information has been pretty limited - give her a chance to find out more about him, firsthand.

That depends.
Is she saying you could do better in terms of just his physical appearance or does she think he is he just a bad influence on you?
If it's because of looks, I'm sorry but your mom is a *****.
If it's for your own benefit and she's just looking out for you, take it into consideration.

You should ask her to explain her specific concerns and ask for any evidence she has to believe what she believes.

For some mothers, NO ONE would ever be good enough. But she might see something you don't, so you should hear her out and either take what she says into consideration, or help to dispel her worries by explaining your side or helping her to get to know your bf better.

Good luck!

Honey I know that when it comes to a boy friend, we can only see the goooood in them, we can not or we refuse to see the bad. But believe me, later on down the road the bad comes popping out, what every one else seen before you is now smack dab in your face to gag on.
My own daughter, when she found this one guy, I told her from the get go I did not like him and that she could do better.
(All mothers want their daughters to pick wisely. For we love them enough that we want them to have the best.)
Any how, she did not listen to me, married him, had three kids by him, he has left her, cheated on her, threatened to kill her, plays mental games with her.
She gets mad when I tell her she should dump him and find someone else. But just wait until her daughter grows up. My daughter will be repeating the same words I told her "You deserve the best!"
Why can't people learn from hearing instead of living and learning. It's allot easier to listen than to waist 20 years.

Depends on one simple thing:

Do you generally take your mother's advice into consideration? If she knows what she is usually saying, you should at least consider it.

If she's a rambling crazy person, then don't
