Let me tell you about my experience. We had 2 neurotic cats, one was more neurotic than the other. Casey, the more neurotic cat was a biotch. We were becoming sick and tired of smelling their funky cat box so we replaced th old cat box with one of those boxes with a roof on it. Brilliant idea, so we thought. Casey was obvisouly not happy with it but hey, she is gonna just hafta get over it right? Wrong, we were the ones that were going to get over it which is why she took a big **** in our bed. We had no idea she had left this clear-as-day message in our bed until we dragged our sleepy bodies into the bedroom. Normally, we just get into bed without turning on the lights. Something told me that I need to hit the switch then those violins, from Psycho, began playing . I have never seen so much ca ca come out of one any living being. Needless to say, we got rid of that stupid cat box with the roof.

Yep!
They often do, especially when they are determined to get their own way!
One of my cats decided that she'd only eat one type of food, and one day when I couldn't get it locally, I bought another type, which, as it happens was dearer than the one she liked.
When I gave her the food, she looked at me as though I was trying to poison her!
She refused to eat it and sulked, refusing even to let me stroke her!
She kept looking in the food bowls and looking at me in disgust!
I couldn't take it any more, so I went out the next day and found her favourite food and bought it, even though it was dearer than in my local supermarket!
She looked at me as if to say, "about time too", ate it up and came up to me, purring and rubbing herself against me!
She would also rub her whiskers against my face when I was asleep, because it would wake me up, and would keep doing it until I stroked her and rubbed behind her ears!
I'll bet she isn't the only cat to do this?!
