and Musharref gets axed and an Islamic fundamentalist nut case group takes over, will that put Pakistan at the top of the list to be hit next? Or will their Bomb make us pause to think? What do you think are the long term consequences of an Al Qaeda supporting government that is a major military power, unlike the Taliban?

Now this is all worst case scenario. I'm interested in what people think.

And please no "George Bush lost Pakistan". That's as inane as the "Jimmy Carter lost Iran" nonsense I see here. Lots of things are out of our control

They'd be next on the chopping block..sanctions, trade embargo, and last but not least, forced regime change.

We might incite them to fight eachother somehow. Get the Sunni Shia rivary going.

Your question really depends on the 08 elections.

I hope if the far out Muslims on a limb get control of any nuke anywhere that we (the USA) get off our butts and take it out immediately.

And I mean really take it out, no boots on the ground, occupation BS.

Just take it out with whatever it takes and wait for them to build it again. Then smile as we take it out. Again.
