Hi April,

Honda's are really great bikes (we have four ...CRF250r,150r,125r and a CRF100 ... among others.. sitting in our garage at present)..but like everything it will depend on how it has been taken care of it...you are talking about a twenty-four year old bike...even if it looks brand new .. if it has set and not been ridden.. than more than likely it will need some attention...... ...to give you an idea..last February we ended up trading in a 2002 Honda 70 in showroom condition on a new 150r.. the dealer would only give $500 ( I think they sold it for around $800)...we had earlier advertised the bike for $750 ...we got no calls.....and it was only five years old ...a bike as old as you are talking about... as far as price.. if it runs ...maybe two to four hundred ..but I wouldn't go anymore than that..because there is a chance it will need some work done to it and if you are not mechanically inclined ..than the cost of having it worked on could run you a good bit....

they have a few cr 80's on ebay right now..keep in mind these are newer models... here is a link to give you some ideas

1983?

No more then about $400 (£210 ish)

You say "they" is it from a dealer? If so, take a rider along with you who knows the bike. Ask for a little test ride.

Almost a 25 year old dirt bike....If it is running, maybe $300 if not running $50..... Good Luck

For the most part they are all around good bikes, but i have had problems with the chain and sprocket. I really wouldnt pay any more than $800.00 for it. just for the simple fact it is an older bike, and air cooled. good luck!
