Hmmm?

Electric oven? Breaker tripped?

Gas oven? Pilot went out, disruption in the gas feed?

It would help to know.

As a gesture of love; HE should hug you; tell you it's OK, help you put the food away, and take you out to dinner.

If the oven is gas, and the burners on top still work, It could be a bad thermocouple. it is the little finger that sticks up beside the pilot light, if it is an older oven. follow the wire connected to the thermocouple to where is screws in. first turn off the gas, then take out the bad t-couple, go get the exact replacement and put it all back together. then follow the lighting instructions.

If it is an electric oven, it could be the heating element or the thermistat, and will take testing equipment to know for sure.

If it is electric, possibly you somehow turned off the circuit breaker, so look at your circuit breakers to see if a couple are pointing a different direction than the others. Or, maybe somehow the oven got unplugged, so check out the oultlet behind the oven.

But it is possible for an oven to be unfixable. If you rent, you really should let your manager/landlord know that your oven is broken so that they can replace it. When I had my first apartment, our oven was smoking and they replaced it. When they pulled out the old one, the wires in the back were melted!

if its gas check pilot light to make shore it is lite.
if it is electric check the electric breaker or fuse in the main box. if breaker switch is in the off position push it to the on.
if this does not work call someone. do not play with if you don't know.

maybe you burner is out, mine just did that, an nothing you can do other than buy a new eliment, if you haven't fliped the breaker, or anything yet try to, other than that, your eliment is shot, and the only way to fix that is buy a new one.
