Isn't it funny how everyone was doing something before they went into labor and swear left and right that that's what brought their labor on. In that case, I toke a good nap with my first child and woke up having contractions so that began labor. With my second child, it must of been the way I laid myself down in bed cause as soon as i laid down, my water broke! LOL, Maybe all these so called induction methods people use are just coincedence and their body would of went into labor anyway. Afterall about half claim induction methods work and others said it did nothing for them. Maybe we should give our bodies more credit.
Id like to hear what you were doing at the exact moment you started contracting or your water broke.

first one i was talking with my mom about when i will go into labor and i went into labor
second one i was at my inlaws house and i had contractions and i was leaving to go to hospital and made it there at a 7
third i was trying to get up off the floor cause i had a body pillow i used for my back
the 4th one sucked....it was 2 in the morning i was sleeping and i thought my husband pissed the bed i slugged him and told him he was sick........he denied it i whiped the sheets up and said i sure the hell didnt look! it was red and i was like oh **** my water broke

This is actually funny! I wen tto the doctor and my doctor scheduled an induction for the following day-I was 40 weeks. I really wanted my labor to be as natural as possible becasue with my first child I was induced and it was horrible. Anyway...my husband and I were laying on our bed wathcing TV and talking about how our little girl was subborn and just wouldn't come on her own and not 10 seconds later I stood up and my water broke...talk about timing.

I was at a friend's house eating dinner when my contractions started getting worse....once I got home, around 2AM, I could not even lay down so that's when I knew it was definitely time. My water broke after I was admitted to the hospital. I was pretty much in labor for a good 24 hours.

Oddly enough, I think we had the baby shower before labor. That morning, I woke up with random pains and out went my mucus plug and some blood. My mother and husband took me to the hospital nearby and we went into labor. They broke my water for me and unfortunately, I had to go into a C-Section delivery because the baby's heart rate was dropping. So they gave me the epidural/anesthesia and I was temporarily paralyzed from the waist down so I didn't feel anything they were doing and I actually fell alseep mid operation and when I woke up, I heard and saw my cute baby boy.

The doc had told me he would see me next week and He said i wouldnt go into labor for a couple more weeks. I was mad but the next week, I took castor oil around 10 at night, half a teaspoons worth and went to bed the next morn around 4 am I woke up feeling like i had to use the potty. I sat there for a while (sorry if its tmi) but nothing happened. i informed my hubby that i thought i was in labor but i wasnt sure. he went back to sleep and i woke him up again around 7 am and we went to the hospital around 4 pm that day i had my daughter. good luck because i hear castor oil only works for some people.

normal everyday routine stuff. I was on bedrest, which I wasn't very good at, big time nesting phase. So I was probably doing household chores when I realized the contractions were getting stronger and that they weren't the typical Braxton Hick ones.

with my first i was induced so i have no cool story for that one, but my second i was cleaning out the cupboards in my bathroom at 2 am and just like you, as soon as i laid down my water broke!
ohhh did it freak me out!
now we are TTC#3 so we'll see what kind of craziness happens this time.

Most of the time i woke up in the middle of the night from sleep. It certainly isnt anything like the bull they show on tv sitcoms.
