does he own the tv station? is he a rich old man or what? he is horrible and asks silly questions and looks like a corpse with lipstick and dyed hair. yuk!

Larry gets good guests and good ratings. He'd never be called hard-hitting, but that's part of the appeal with guests in a call-in format; he does an excellent job of protecting them.

Larry is slightly restricted by the network in the type of guests he can have on -- he once said he'd love to do a Charlie Rose-type show.

He does a serious disservice to the community. He offers a platform for criminal frauds like Sylvia Browne and her kind to bamboozle the public. He is so credulous and lacks any professional integrity.

He's not interesting but most of his guests are. Its a money thing too.
