im after a good agent for tv film etc

they are everywhere. the best ones are SAG franchised agents go to SAG web site and search them out But agents are not interested in representing you, unless you have a very strong resume and have a look they think they can sell to casting directors. Oh, and if you are under 18, your parents will have to get an agent for you.

Start searching the web and trade papers like Variety. Film schools may have a list but it may be given only to their students. Check local production businesses who film commercials etc., as you may be better off working for a short period in that atmosphere to get a "foot in the door". Unfortunately it's a lot like author's agents. A lot of time they find you after some sort of indie or documentary flick.

www.entscapitaluk.com has literally 1000s of quality entertainers UK wide featured with them. I have my entry with them and have got loads of gigs. Also they allow you to talk directly to your booker which is great for discussing all aspects of what you are needed for and sets etc. Saves the many agency mess ups I have had in the past! No longer have to pay any commission on my gigs either which is great!
