Do you think Bratz Dolls are good or bad? I think they are a bit over the top. I wouldn't buy them for my daughter if I had one that little. All that make up and short skirts and shirts...I think it's wrong.
I'm sure people will tell me I'm wrong and that's ok too. I want to hear from all sides!
Oh, and I'm not that impressed with Barbie either.

I hate those dolls so much. They dress slutty for one thing, and they also help to teach girls that the most important thing for them to focus on is how they look, and that isn't a message I want my daughter to learn. Barbie is just as bad...shes either dressed up like a tramp, or off being a princess somewhere...remember when she used to be an astronaut?

I'm not going to tell you that you are rong but I'm not telling you that you are right either. I think that bratz is a bit more realistic than barbie so i would perfer bratz. Again i never noticed that maybe they arn't so good. with all the mini skirts and make up. Maybe the litle girls might think it's cool and they want to be like them so they'll start putting on make up and wearing dose type of clothes..... really big opinion. Sorry.

I let my kids play with Bratz. To me it is no big deal, they see the clothes anywhere they go , its not like you can prevent them from seeing teen girls in mini skirts and too much makeup. Plus i played with barbie all my life and I am just fine, Bratz are not going to hurt kids.

actually, i totally agree with you. they are over the top and it's too much make up, not enough clothing and not the look you want your child of the age to play with bratz to look like.
they are not terrible and it's just a over done barbie, but's they take all the simple out of everything.
barbie has been around so long i guess i'm just immuned to her.

My concern with Bratz dolls is the dramatic distortion of certain characteristics like the lips and eyes. The waist width is smaller than the lips.
Young girls are already having enough body image problems from unrealistic media images.
I wouldn't get them for anyone.
