I want a card that will last me for some time, and can play games like COD4 without having to use the low settings.

I have an agp motherboard and dont want to have to buy a new one yet.

You should get the one that is cheaper. They're both almost the same thing

Karz is definately correct there. The ATi 1950 pro/xt/gt dominates the AGP spectrum. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102093

They are very similar, get the cheaper one. BUT the best AGP card is the X1950 XT.

Get neither, find a 8800 gt series card, these are the only DirectX10 cards out at the moment.
If your looking for longeivity you cannot get a card that isnt DX10 compatable.
