anti-theft invisible tracing powder

this might be expensive, but at least I'll point you in the right direction.

the idea is to place a tempting bill somewhere where the thief will find it. Dust it with the UV powder.

bring a hand held black light to work that day and when the bill goes missing. Just start calmly "showing off" your new black light to your co workers.......

when you come across the thief............ their hands will light up!!!

stay away from the shortwave powders

good luck! and play it cool..... keep an eye open over your shoulder..... GO alpha team GO!!!!

Chance are you probably won't be caught, or at least have charges filed against you. There are a handful of steps that need to be proven in order to get a strong shoplifting charge to stick, which include, grabbing the items, concealing them, keeping uninterupted surveillance, walking past the last registers, and being caught with the items. Since you have already left the store, chances of them having all these steps down is unlikely. However, not getting charges filed is different from being caught. the store can review the camera footage and see that you tried on the shirt and took the make up ealier/. Given that they may post your photo up as a known shoplifter so if you return to the store they may recognize you and tresspass you from the store. If you return you will be arrested for tresspassing, not shoplifting. Best advice is to not shoplift again and don't return to the store.

I'm sorry but without a camera,
It's going to be VERY hard,
I mean the thief hasn't been caught
in weeks, he or she sounds pretty slick to me,
and a skilled thief makes sure no one is around
before stealing

There's a thief in our workplace too and also hard to catch. Its like he continues to do it because the chances of getting caught are minimal because there's others being suspect. so its like he gets a thrill out of just doing it because he doesnt get caught--ya know?? but I know its this guy--he's weird and has pathological liar symptoms where he'll lie over small stuff. anyway--hope he gets caught. i like the black light idea, but then who's to know if the weirdo might retaliate and slit your car tires or something--you know? so my advice is to just protect your own money and purse and stuff, and stay out of it. aint nuthin we can do until the thief gets caught red-handed.

Dust some thing of value with bromphenol blue powder. Then wait to see who shows up with blue hands.
