Less...It's almost like our country is being run
by the missing link. It's like we are bullies now.
Going into other peoples countries and telling
them what to do, how to live, what to think, give
us your oil or we'll kill you. Pathetic.
I have a really bad feeling that something far worse
than 9/11 will happen within our lifetime.
No matter how many bells and whistles are in place
that day will come. What goes around, comes around.
The United States of America. It's now just a name with
no real meaning for me.
I really believe our country is being deliberately rigged
to self-destruct. In order to make way for that
"NEW WORLD ORDER" which is ready to dissolve
the constitution and it reeks of oppression.
Some say that has already happened. I believe it.

That depends on how you define patriotism. If you listen to the Bush administration, they would have you believe that anyone who doesn't support them 100% is unpatriotic. I say the truth is just the opposite. When the government becomes misguided and oppressive, the patriotic thing to do is oppose it. I'm just as disillusioned as you are, but I say that means I'm MORE patriotic than I was 10 years ago because I'm more determined than ever to defend freedom against all who would take it away, including the President.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else."
-- Theodore Roosevelt in the Kansas City Star, 149
May 7, 1918
[edit]
I'm shocked and horrified that anyone would find any reason to disagree with what I said or what Roosevelt said. Anyone who believes we should always stand behind the President even when he's wrong is paving the way for a dictatorship. I believe it was Benjamin Franklin who said, "He who would sacrifice freedom for safety deserves neither." If you're not intelligent enough to understand what that means you shouldn't be allowed to vote.

I feel more, because I now see that there are an unbelieveably large number of people who have no idea what is going on around them. The fools would use any reason they can to blame Bush for wrongs, rather than stand against the terrorist who want to destroy our way of life even more than the libs. We were attacked, and if we cannot stand together as a people, then we have lost more than a battle.

I have always loved America and been patriotic toward it. I feel thankful to have been born in America and have never wanted to live in any other country.

Less. More politicians are in favor of the North American Union however, they will not discuss it. This is a direct contradiction to our constitution which they swore to uphold.
