Is it normal for your wife of four years to refuse to have sex with you when you're alone with her at home (no period or physical problems involved)? What would this mean?

Do you guys have kids? If she finally has some down time when the kids are gone and it's just you and her, she may want to rest instead of tending to your needs. If she enjoyed sex with you as much as you enjoy sex with her, things may be different. In other words, no matter how tired a woman is, if the sex is great, she won't turn it down....think about it.

It's hard to say with the limited detail you give here.

There are many reasons why she would refuse to have sex with you. She could be tired. She could be stressed. She could be mad at you. She could just want time with you without having sex. Your best bet is to talk to her outside of the bedroom and ask her.

How old are you? Do you help around the house when you get home from work? Maybe she is wore out from her regular job and the housework. Or, maybe you don't take the time with foreplay to make it worth her while.

Maybe she could be saying lets spice some things up!! Don't just go into having sex. Try foreplay and kissing.

Not enough information. Is this a change from before? Has there been any outside pressures in the relationship? What does she say about it?

How are you physically? Is your back shaved and are you showered? Are you drinking too much?

More importantly, have you talked with her about it? Try that and let us know. This is not normal but we need more information to advise you.

Good luck.

It means what it means , she is not in the mood, no big deal! dont you everneed time to yourself? Are you in the mood after a really bad day? Stop worrying, and respect your mate.

On occassion, it's normal. Sometimes we just aren't in the mood- just because you are married doesn't mean you get sex on demand.

It depends, how is the rest of your relationship. If she is happy outside of the bedroom then there should be no problem. Sit down with her and express how worried you are.

Sometimes she just isn't in the mood. If it happens many times then I would be concerned, but otherwise remember marriage isn't just about sex.
