Today was our first prenatal appointment, and I was right, I am only 6 weeks along and not 7...according to my LMP (I had 41 days cycles). So, the midwife did an internal as well as a transvaginal ultrasound. Normally, I bleed a little when I have my annual paps done....and I had some spotting as well today after my internal exam (had the Strep B test done too).

Question is, during my other pap exams I was not pregnant (minus my first pregnancy)...and this time I am...so should I be concerned with any of the spotting?

The u/s was fine...the midwife was pleased to see such a thick lining around the sac....so I'm assuming this spotting is no cause for alarm?

the spotting is normal. I had that with my first appt with my son. The only thing is that if you notice any massive bleeding (more then the spotting) then tell dr right away. CONGRATS!!!!!

Yes, it's very normal to spot a little after a pregnancy exam. There is increased blood flow to that area and it is more sensitive.

No concerns in any respect. I never bled like that with my first after inner tests yet with my 2nd I did after each and every time. additionally you are able to word alot of mucus jumbled at the same time with it or it may exchange over to easily mucus. My suggestion is drink alot of water this might help your physique heal quicker. hard paintings would be anyday now!! stable success to you!

This is normal....no need to worry unless you bleed heavily or continue bleeding. I had the same issue a couple of times...but the dr said its nothing to worry about and is perfectly normal! :)

it's normal. Your cervix is extra sensitive while pregnant, and the pap could cause minor bleeding. i bled during mine and the doc told me not to worry about it that its normal! congrats and good luck!
