Yes, they can be, although PMS symptoms vary from woman to woman. As far as helping her - don't crack PMS jokes, don't touch her breasts when she's not feeling well, and if she tells you to go away, go away!

Hunny, how sweet of you to think of your girlfriend like this, and yes, breast pain with PMS is actually worse than if she was pregnant. She needs to stay away for the sports at thins time. Nothing really helps, other than not touching, my husband of 19 years is in the same situation. She can take PMS Pills they help, the blue good heavens I forget the name. MIDOL... Ohh for your information There isn't any part of a woman's body ISN'T SEXUAL.... there is no such part of the woman's body that's not....Good Luck

Every woman is different.. and has different PMS symptoms (or none at all!) There's really not a lot you can do... but maybe if she took some Advil she might feel better... or she could go to the doctor and they might prescribe something for her. Getting hit in the chest with a soccer ball would hurt any girl at any time of the month, to be honest. She should be fine, I really don't think the problem is that severe. If it is, she should go to the doctor.

During that time of the month, breasts can be come VERY tender. It varies from woman to woman the severity. For some women, it's just an annoyance. For others (like your gf), it can disrupt daily life. Then some women (like myself) vary from month-to-month. Some months it doesn't bother me, others you'd better not come near my cest with a 10 ft pole!
Has your gf talked to her doctor about this pain? Perhaps there's something she can take to lessen the symptoms of her PMS so she can enjoy things like a hug during her time of the month.

You are possibly the sweetest boyfriend ever! I don't think mine has ever been so concerned about my "boobs".
Some girls have no problem with PMS, and some feel absolutely horrible. Sore breasts are a common symptom. There is not much you can do other than to be very very careful not to hit her in the chest!
Oh, and give her chocolate, candy, cookies... whatever her PMS symptoms tell her she is craving. Then you'll be her savior.

Wow......how sweet of you to care! Yes, during PMS, breasts can be very tender and sensitive. Just give her space (literally) and try not to touch her boobs to often (lightly if necessary). Also, she could use light heat (heating pads) to soothe the soreness. If she has other severe symptoms of PMS, maybe she should discuss w/ her gyno and get a Rx. Also there is over the counter stuff like Midol. This will help w/ soreness as well as cramps.
Hope she feels better soon and I wish you two the best.

Yes, they can get that tender. It usually starts about 2 weeks before her period and gets worse up until her period starts. It doesn't happen to all women and can start happening at any time in a woman's life. Be gentle, apply heat if it gives her relief and she can take Tylenol or Advil for some relief as well.

Yes they are.
Wait till she's breastfeeding and her boobs get engorged! Ouch! Or her 11 month old tries out his new teeth by biting mid-feed. Double Ouch!
If her boobs are really sore be gentle with her, no enthusiastic hugs and encourage her to take a warm bath, it will soothe her boobs a lot. A warm flannel will do the same thing.

Well, she may just be very sensitive. Should has to wear a sports bra when PMSing at least. I am not even close to being that sensitive at any time at all. There are supplements that may or may not work. It is probably a good thing when getting close, these things have their good and bad side.
