The light we see when we look at the moon is just light from the sun, shining past the earth, and reflecting off of the moon.

Imagine standing in front of a mirror. Have a person stand behind you, and shine a flashlight on that mirror. You'll see the light, even though it's behind you, because it's reflected off of something in front of you. The moon is exactly the same.

Moon does not emit any light. We see moon because it reflects sun light. Any how it is not a good reflector.Only 7%of sun light which falls on the moon only reflects Suppose we see earth from moon it will be more bright because earth with its cloud cover reflects 40 % of the incoming light. Earth is also bigger than moon.

The light you see is from the sun. The moon doesn't have light of it's own.
