i need to work out how much pallets of blocks to order for 85 square metres

best thing to do is to order 85 sm, let the supplier take the risk and work it out.

You can work it out like this when you know how many bocks there are on a pallet. 100mm is .1metre and 200mm is .2meter. Therefore the area of one block is .1 x .2 equals
.02 sq. metres.

If the area to be covered is 85 sq, meteres, divide that number by .02, so the number of blocks you need is 4250.

Divide this number ie 4250, by the number of blocks on a pallet, that will give you the number of pallets you require, you will probably have to buy the next whole number up of pallets.

can you come back to us and explain your dimensions ..like ..are the block 80mm wide ...and 200mm long ..100mm tall......if that is correct..then you will need 50 per square metre ...times 85 ....thats 4250 blocks

find out how many are on a pallet and u r in bs. impossible to figure without that detail, though.
