So long as my actions do not cause direct physical or financial harm to anyone then no man or government has the right to interfere with said actions.

In other words, anything that doesn't infringe on the rights of others must be allowed. Even if you happen to find it objectionable or distasteful.

The military is, as we speak, admitting that this is the first time in history that they are not able to reliably predict the size and location of the next conflict. That means, even during whatever peace there is prior to the outbreak, the military will be stretched thin and that would be the case even if we had a draft.

We have no choice. It's time to withdraw from everywhere and consolidate our military here at home and adot a Swiss style force. A large reserve and ready national guard with a smaller, more nimble active duty force.

Leave all the little conflicts to be solved by local governments. Let the Europeans take a bigger stake in their own defense as well as Japan and south east asia.

Isolate now.

I want the federal government decimated to a reasonable size. It is about 10 times as big as it really needs to be. Once we bust the fed down to siz, we can return that power to the states. Then, if we don't like the way are state runs things, we can vote with our feet and move to a state that suits us better.

Against the death penalty. All you pro-death panalty people, I hope you are never falsely accused of anything. Some eye-witness that thinks they saw you etc. I've been a trial lawyer for 20 years and let me tell you something, juries get it wrong ALL THE TIME. To the moron above who wants to execute people in 2 weeks, I bet you will see it differently if you are the one on death row.

That liberals tend to be much brighter than conservatives. Something I've always been able to take to the bank.
