Why is violence (sometimes fictional, sometimes real) so enjoyable to people?

Great question, I've often wondered that myself. When I see movies where the entire plot is people being gruesomely tortured to death for absolutely no reason except for someone elses enjoyment, it horrifies me. I know it's fiction but you dont go into a movie thinking this is fake. A good movie draws you in and you forget that theyre acting. I get even more horrified when people go crazy over these movies, and wait in line to watch. I never understood why watching people being murdered was so entertaining to us. I wonder the same thing about boxing and fighting. People pay good money to watch someone else getting hurt, and they love every second of it. It makes me sick. I wonder how long it'll take before people arent satisified just watching it anymore, and start going out and doing it. It's already happening. Alot of these school shooters spent hours playing graphically violent video games, watched violent movies, and listened to violent music. We're making violence look appealing, and entertaining.

of direction, there are some fictional characters that are alluring and exciting, and could merely be a hoot in the event that they have been authentic. people and critters alike. From King Kong to Yoda, from Superman to Ellen Ripley, and a number of of greater. And would not want that there good people like James Bond and sweetness lady someplace available attempting to make this a greater desirable and safer worldwide.

cause i think deep down everybody wishes they cld whack certain ppl and get away with it. so if they read it or play vg's or whatever its like they r living their wish or sthing.imagining they're whacking that person....:)
