Question

I was having lunch with this great looking guy I met recently and we kind of flirted and he said that women who look like me scare men...Well I know I should ask him what he mend by that but some friends joined us and we dropped it...
What the f**k could he mean by that?

Well I can see how you would scare most guys out there.
You are hot and most men are shy around good looking women. He may be a little insecure but I don't think he thinks you are that fare out of his league or he would not have been having lunch with you. Usually, gorgeous women (like you) only scare men who are not great looking and don't make a lot of money but you said your date was great looking so he should not feel threatened by your look.

Maybe he just has low self esteem.

Some guys will just be scared by good looking women because they feel those women are high maintenance...spending a lot of time on their look...the tanning, the teeth bleaching, the hair dresser, the waxing, the gym, the buying new clothes, shoes, bags...therefore being selfish.

Some gorgeous women not only will spend all their free time on themselves and barely make any effort to please their partner, because they will expect him to constantly be so grateful.

Add all that to the fact that having a good looking girlfriend opens the door to thinking about all the other guys who wants to steal her from you...

So you end up with a gorgeous girlfriend, high maintenance, too busy spending time on herself to pay any attention to you, and who will disappear as soon as you get tired of being amazed by her...scary.

If you like that guy, you have to make the effort to make him understand that he's number one in your book (more important than any other appointments you may have).

I think he's scared of rejection. He might not have a lot of self esteem and guys that don't are often intimidated by pretty girls. The saying "What does a girl like you want with a guy like me" pretty much says it all.
