Have you seen the massive pig farms, mass producing pork for the millions of humans, injected with steroids, mostly all sick....i think i'd rather be an unhappy human.

Ethically I can not answer this.

From experience, i can not answer this.

Hypothetically, I'd like to have a mixed existence.

If you have the choice, why choose only one?

Now, the real question is how much time being one versus the other. Without more to describe the surrounding environment, it is difficult to answer this.

I could be a happy pig, but entering a slaughterhouse. How long would I be happy? Would I be happy until I die? Maybe just think about entering a slaughterhouse has removed all happiness. In which case, happiness was short lived!!!!

You'd have to be pretty miserable to want to be a happy pig instead. It sounds about equivalent to being permanently comatose but having pleasant dreams...

I suppose unhappy human because it always allows the potential to one day become a happy human, which is a superior existence to a happy pig.

If you are eliminating the possibility of one day becoming happy. I suppose if the net level of happiness I experienced as a human was truly negative (on the whole, existence is worse than non-existence) then I would probably take the happy pig (net happiness is positive, even if barely so due to the low quality of existence / thought)...

Great Q, To be guaranteed a miserable human is to be totally neg at all times and that would torment me no end, so, I would rather be a happy pig that dies of old age, more like a Bore.

I will stick with being the unhappy human. Most people are unhappy, much of the time. I have never met a "happy" person. Life is tiring, trying, full of pain, sorrow and suffering. But, that is part of life. It makes the happy moments that much more enjoyable.

I want to be a human at all costs . I don't want to be a pig. What is the pig happy about that he has a full box of slop and he is standing in mud up to his neck and he is the favorite head pettee at the petting barn?

I dont wanna be a piggy!!
If I were a piggy I would finish up as bacon and then some unhappy human would have me for breakfast.
So I think I will stay an unhappy human
