I am trying to find a cellphone to buy online. I am hoping to get a Motorola V3 GSM RAZR CINGULAR. I usually buy unlocked phones, because obviously they will be compatible with my service no matter what.

This phone says "CINGULAR", not "unlocked", but my carrier is AT&T, which used to be cingular. The store I go to for my service is an AT&T/cingular store, and my sim card is cingular. So will this phone work with my service? If you need me to be more specific, please say so so I can help us both out!

Any Cingualr phone will work on the new ATT.

Cingular is ATT now.

yeah it should work. it is the same company/carrier, just under a different name. If it didnt, all the phones using AT&T while the company changed to cingular would stop working too.

if it says cingular, I believe you should be fine. Though I would take it to the store just to be safe.
