What don't I know? Born and raised here. We are a hometown team (Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres). Buffalo has been voted the number one friendliest cities in the country. It gets cold her, we are right off the lake. We have some of the best meals around (chicken wings, bison chip dip, sahlens hot dogs, webers mustard, serrento cheese) just to name a few...Our summers are absolutely gorgeous...We have the largest city hall in America. We have some of the most beautiful parks and botanical gardens. Our Lady of Victory parish is here, where Father Baker is being made a saint. It's a very special place to many...We also have some of the best SUNY schools in the country...

Buffalo (pronounced IPA: /ˈbʌfloʊ/ by a small minority of local residents, /ˈbʌfəloʊ/ by most others) is an American city in western New York. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 292,648.[1] Buffalo is the state's second-largest city after New York City and is the county seat of Erie County.GR6 It is the economic and cultural center of the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metropolitan area which has an overall population of 1.2 million people.[2] Buffalo is the dominant city of both the Buffalo Niagara Region and the Western New York region. The Buffalo area is also adjacent to the Golden Horseshoe. This is an urban region in southern Ontario, Canada.
Buffalo lies at the eastern end of Lake Erie and at the southern head of the Niagara River. The Niagara River connects Lake Erie and Lake Ontario via Niagara Falls.

Let's see..good hockey team cheated out of the Stanley cup by Brett Hull, a NFL team, great wings..and for some reason Buffalo likes to take all the lake effect snow instead of sending it to us in Toronto.
Thanks Buffalo...we really do appreciate it!

It's the armpit of the universe, center of the rust belt, just upstream from the Love Canal, basking under the perpetual smog of the refineries, mercifully covered in mountains of snow in winter, and close enough to Canada to escape. OJ Simpson started out there, you can get Buffalo wings and roast beef on kimmelweck (Beef on wick) to go with the beer, as you look out over a dead great lake.

I went to school there, and didn't like it. I left after a semester. It is very cold, and kind of depressing. I know this is where the buffalo chicken wing started!

There is an airport there. And they have an American Football team who always lose in the final of the Superbowl. And it's not too far away from the Canadian border, and Niagra Falls.
