This is getting ridiculous. It appears that the Left has now managed to accuse Santa Clause of misogyny:

SYDNEY (AFP) - Santas in Australia's largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas's traditional "ho ho ho" greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday.

I am somewhat confused as to who would be offended by Santa saying Ho, ho, ho since he has been saying it alot longer than it has been used for the derogatory term for ladies of the evening.

I don't know if its the left or the right. All I know is its ridiculous. Even the Jolly Green Giant went Ho Ho Ho in the commericals. Does anyone remember that?

In order to honor our "feminine side" perhaps he should be saying "hee hee hee". Anyway, it doesn't matter to me anymore. My life was ruined when a stringy little blonde named Ruth told me when I was a mere eight years old, while we were playing dodgeball in the basement of our grammar school, that Santa was really ........no, I can't go on. It's still too painful.

I think that would be a tactic on the right side. It is my right wing Christian evangelical neighbor who does not let her daughters believe in Santa.

To me if it offends a woman then she must be a ho.

Nice answer "Archduke Gumbercules"!!! anyway, stop freaking out. I don't have a problem with Santa Claus. In fact, I think it's cool that he gives toys to kids who otherwise might not get them.

Yes.... it is so sad.... nothing more than the left feeling everyone needs their hands held. Funny how the left considers them selves protectors of free speech

most examples of what are commonly cited as the left's pc attack on christmas are really merely decisions that business make for themselves, such as walmart's choice to say "happy holidays."

last time i checked, corporations, especially walmart, are not left wing. actually, they are far from it.

there is no vast liberal conspiracy, no cabal of pot-smoking tree huggers out there steering the wrecking ball to destroy the helpless, beleaguered white protestant majority in this country.

climb down from your self-pity wagon and realize you wield the power in america, not the other way around.

merry xmas!
